I Locked Myself Out of My Own Amazon (…and why that’s actually good news)

Launching a book comes with surprises. Today, I downloaded the Kindle app on my phone to buy my own book (so I could show friends how easy it is without a Kindle device). Amazon spotted “unusual activity” and temporarily put my buyer account on hold while they verify my card.

The silver lining? Before that happened, three copies had already sold. 🎉
